The ShahNameh is a historical and epic book of ancient Iran. ‘Shah’ means King, and 'Nameh' means Book, so The ShahNameh means The Book of Kings (The Book of Shahs). Ferdowsi is a well-known Iranian poet who lived in Tous. Among the most important surviving works on the lives and reigns of the Shahs, Ferdowsi wrote The ShahNameh in verse to immortalize a significant part of Iran's ancient history and culture in his masterpiece. Just as Ferdowsi's ShahNameh brings the legacy of the Iranian monarchy to life, ShahNameh Publisher aims to introduce that legacy and other valuable Persian-language works.
